FASTING DAY 01: Brokenness and Humility

In today's fasting, we address the lack of brokenness and humility in believers' lives, which is hindering us from truly serving and being used by the Lord. Hallelujah!

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today, on our first day of fasting, we pray to break "Brokenness and Humility". As believers, we need to understand the importance of praying for brokenness and humility in our lives. It is only when we humble ourselves before the Lord that He himself can exalt us and give us purpose.

Our focus today is on James 4:10 (AMP). This scripture reminds you that you need to humble yourselves before the Lord himself and recognize your insignificance in God's presence. It is only when you do this that God can lift you up and give you the purpose that you so much need (God cannot lift you up and give you purpose without you following His laws). You need to break your pride and self-sufficiency and submit yourselves to the Lord.

As believers, you need to pray for brokenness and humility because it is only through these qualities that you can truly serve the Lord. When you are broken and humble, you are more open to God's will and can be used by God Himself to accomplish even great things. Hallelujah!

You need to break the pride and self-sufficiency that often hold you back from truly serving the Lord. You need to recognize that you are nothing without God and that all of your accomplishments are because of God's grace and mercy.

So, what are the lessons that you need to understand through the scripture of James 4:10 (AMP) and the background that has been jotted down here?

Lesson Listing:

1. Pride and self-sufficiency are holding you back from serving the Lord.
2. Humility and brokenness allow you to be used by God.
3. You need to recognize your insignificance in the presence of the Lord.

Possible examples of why you have to break from prayer in the Bible:

1. The story of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4, who was brought low by God because of his pride and self-sufficiency
2. The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, who humbled himself before his father and was welcomed back with open arms
3. The example of Chirst Jesus himself, who humbled himself by becoming a servant and ultimately sacrificing himself on the cross for your sins

Let's break our Fast. Let us now pray to break what we need to break on day 1 based on James 4:10 since we have "FAST" AND must "BREAK NOW":

Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a humble heart, recognizing my insignificance in your presence. I pray that you will break my pride and self-sufficiency and help me to be truly humble before you. Just as King Nebuchadnezzar was brought low by you because of his pride and self-sufficiency, I pray, Lord Father, that you would break any pride in my heart and help me to rely on you completely.

LORD God, I pray that you would give me the strength to submit myself to you, just as the prodigal son humbled himself before his father and was welcomed back with open arms. Help me, Lord God, to recognize my need for you and to turn to you in repentance.

I pray, Lord God, that you would help me to be open to your will and to be used by you to accomplish great things, just as Christ Jesus himself humbled himself by becoming a servant and ultimately sacrificing himself on the cross for my sins. Help me, Lord God, to follow Christ Jesus' example of humility and service.

LORD, I pray that you will break any barriers that are holding me back from serving you fully. Help me, Lord, to recognize my need for you and to rely on you completely. I pray all of this in the name of Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

May you be released from any bondage or stronghold that has broken during this time of fasting, for those of you who have broken your fast. May God use you to accomplish great things as you continue to seek Him with a humble heart.

In conclusion, as Christians, you must pray for brokenness and humility in your lives. You must recognize your insignificance in the presence of the Lord and completely surrender to Him. Allow God to use you to accomplish great things for God's kingdom as you pray for these qualities throughout your fast and beyond. I believe you have been church-built and Healed'. I appreciate everyone's prayers and participation in this. Please dont forget to give your thanks offertory, or tithe. Bye.
