HAVE YOU RECENTLY CONFESSED YOUR SINS?
In the Bible (James 5:15-17 (AMP) says:
"15 ....the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months."
Can you recall the last time you sinned?
It can be difficult to remember at times, but I believe that some moments of weakness enter your mind.
What did you do after you sinned? What, more importantly, can you do differently?
James explains what you can do and, hopefully, what you could do better (read James 5:15-17): Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another. When I confess to any wrongdoing, I feel a tremendous sense of relief. Keeping it bottled up never allows for the release of negative energy and emotions, so free yourself today by confessing it out loud. Let it all out, ask for forgiveness, and pray for each other while also supporting one another.
LET US PRAY:
LORD GOD IN HEAVEN, I AM A SLAVE.
Father, forgive me because I have sinned. I've been gluttonous, lustful, greedy, proud, sad, wrathful, vain, and slothful. I've passed judgment on others without even looking at myself. I haven't always loved my enemies or my neighbors as much as I love myself. I can and must do better with the Holy Spirit's assistance. O Lord, forgive me and heal me! I beseech You to strengthen me today and every day, for only You are my refuge from temptation and every form and nature of evil. Deliver me from evil, for the kingdom, power, and glory are all yours forever. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
I believe you have been Church Built and Healed.
In the scriptures encouraging you to bare one another's burdens. Galatians 6:6 (AMP) says:
"The one who is taught the word [of God] is to share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his spiritual and material support]."
