Rejecting God's Word: Listen to the word, do not Shut down the person from which it comes

Before I was commissioned as a servant of Christ Jesus, I always wondered why most people reject the word that was meant for them and was delivered to them by their pastors. This I too used to do for it always came back to me. I always asked myself, how could God have talked to someone else and not to me directly, little did I know that It angered God. This I never knew until mid this January, 2020. The Bible (John 1:1 KJV) says, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." Looking at this sermon, I always challenge the word that was meant to transform me because in my mind and human understanding, the word of God has to only be with God. Look how I was wrong. (Listen or Watch the song I SURRENDER -Hill song worship it will talk to your spirit as you surrender to God so that you want to know God more, as you allow the LORD have his way in you)

On the 21st day of January, 2020 it so happened that the Lord had given me a message for some lady. This lady seemed to listen but as I relayed to her the message meant to transform her, she suddenly lashed out at me and told me to leave her alone as in her mind she thought it was a baseless communication. Within me I felt so weary, so heavy that the message she doubted and rejected instantly started to affect me. I felt angry at her for rejecting the message and saying it never came from the Lord. This caused me to tell the lady that she could have rejected the word relayed from my mouth thinking that it was my own, but the word was not from my own wisdom. I continued to tell her that whatever the consequence for rejecting the word of God, she was to deal with God himself and not me. As I said all these, It felt within me a discomfort that wanted me to release from me the bitter truth. What was this truth? She had just been prophesied to to receive something in response to her prayers, and on rejecting the word, immediately everything she hoped to be smooth that day started going the opposite way. Having noticed her rudeness by rejecting the word of God, she immediately humbled herself and said, "Oh I know why everything that was working out has suddenly started crumbling." In her conscience she realized that the word she had rejected was not my own word, it was a message from God to her that she had rejected. The word of the Lord had tried her (Psalms 105:19 KJV) and she was convicted within her own self. The Bible (Jeremiah 23:28 KJV) says: "The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream, and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD." The lady never knew that I was only serving as a servant of God to faithfully relay his message to her. It was a warning message she needed to eagerly listen to from God, yet she got too quick to reject it because it had come through a man she was familiar with.

Soon it was fellowship, later in the day. The Spirit of the Lord relayed to me scriptures for the fellowship, they were, "Jeremiah 6:10-15 NLT." The scriptures exposed what the lady had done and what it implied: The lady, just like you and other Christians are not listening when God speaks through other people. You have intentionally closed your ears to the word of God meant for your own transformation, even when God's messengers try to relay to you the message, you do not want to listen at all. Just as I got filled with the LORD's fury and became uncomfortable to hold the anger of someone rejecting God's word within me, so do most other pastors or prophets that are honestly rejected by you and other Christians out there. The Bible (1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV) says, "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." The word of God which I received was not my word. I received it in truth, it was a word from God meant to effectively work for the lady on whose behalf it was received, but when she rejected it, this meant she was disobedient to the word and the effectiveness meant of the word for her could no longer work for her, the word was misused by the lady.

Whenever you reject God's word meant to transform you, God pours out his fury on you and punishes you. Just as in the Bible (Jeremiah 6:11-12 NLT), the lady was punished. She not only lost a blessing of money, she also felt disappointed in herself, for she realized that it were immediately after rejecting the word of God that every confirmation for confirmed transactions just suddenly got turned down, a punishment that not only affected her, but rather affected her siblings and mother as well. She was humbled beneath God's punishing anger (Jeremiah 6:15 NLT). The LORD shows us that much as we may not believe in the human being carrying the message of God, let us be slow to reject messages from those particular people, more so pastors and other servants of God as you may reject messages conveyed to these persons by God himself.   

 

Do you blame the lady for rejecting the word of God? No, blaming her is not required, she is only broken, weak and in tears. All she needs is being corrected, redeemed and brought back to want to listen to God, she needs refuge. No one can control the tongue (James 3:8 KJV). The lady is defiled by a world in which the Christians as well as those meant to serve the Christians as prophets and pastors are all doing disgusting deeds. Just as the Christians are rejecting messages including those that are not from man and are meant for them, prophets and other servants of God have as well wavered from preaching the true and faithful word of God in the requirements of the LORD and have instead preferred to take advantage of the word and the Christians. Some servants of God now give preferential treatment (Jeremiah 6:14 NLT) to certain Christians as opposed to others, to the extent of serving God in disguise. This is not right for a healthy Christian, it is wrong for Christians to reject God's message and prophets or servants of God as well misusing their positions. Physically you seem godly but Spiritually you are dead. Such behavior means you are failing to acknowledge that the Lord's Spirit lives in you. The Bible (Galatians 2:20-21 NLT) reveals that Christ Jesus lives in you, therefore God is with you in your struggles and the Holy Spirit is working within you helping you want to obey God by giving you the strength and power to do what is right. Hallelujah! This reveals that God has forgiven you and to confirm this, God has given himself to you to live inside of you. So when you reject the word of God, or trick others to get what does not belong to you, then you will have treated the death of Christ Jesus as meaningless, then you will be spiritually dead.

The LORD says we are all sinners, so we are not in position of blaming fellow others. Just as the lady used her tongue to reject the word of God, it was by the tongue that the word was being delivered to her. In other words child of God, be careful with your tongue for without the control of the Holy Spirit, your tongue can easily praise God and at the same time contradict itself and curse those in the image of God (James 3:9-15 KJV). The lady's rejection of the word of God was abusing God and choosing the Devil's pathway. It is not right for you to say that you are Christian and yet you contradict your Christianity. Be tender and responsive, refuse to be bitter as outbursts of anger are usually controlled and taken advantage of by the Devil.  Live in unceasing goodness to allow the LORD to pour out to you favor and not punishment. The Lady was quick to reject the word of God because she herself has lived a life of self denial, a life of those spiritually dead. The LORD says, "Stop right where you are! Look for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel it's path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, 'No, that's not the road we want!' I set watchmen over you who said, 'Listen for the sound of the trumpet!' But you replied, 'No! we won't pay attention!' (Jeremiah 6:16-17 NLT). The LORD wants you to walk in the godly way, God wants you to listen and pay attention to his word so as for him to allow you to walk in his goodness. Therefore return to God: repent your sins that are causing evil forces to care for you instead of being cared for by the LORD our God. When you walk in God's pathway, God pours out his love and rest for you. 

Child of God Listen to people who come to you with the word of God, as long as the word corrects you, is true and faithful, do not block it, for if you do you will find yourself at the wrong pathway disobeying God and not the person.

Today, day in - day out you are affected with panic attacks, depression kept to yourself, and the anxiety you suffer alone. Whenever you think about your inner pains that you have kept to yourself, all you do is tear. Child of God, Keeping pain to yourself is only affecting your spiritual life, break away from stuffing that pain and build a personal relationship with our Lord Christ Jesus- He is the solution to your life and peace. Your Victory is not in keeping pain, failure, regression, troubles, struggles and all sorts of suffering to yourself. Stop stuffing yourself and seek God's promise of victory for you. Why you continually go to the doctor for treatment is because you still live in the way of the flesh and not the way of the Spirit of our Lord Christ Jesus. Your stubborn attitude of self belief is leading you to self destruction, for you to have victory over all struggles, wickedness and witchcraft, you have to want to stop being controlled by the desires of your flesh and allow yourself to be controlled by the power of the Holy spirit. The time you acknowledge that you are powerless and not able to manage your own life, child of God focus on our Lord Christ Jesus- He will release to you the Holy Spirit whose witness in your life will cause for the LORD God to release to you his promise of victory for you. You refocusing your deeds on God will impress him to allow you experience freedom, peace, life and all the feelings of victory. Choose to live by the Spirit of God today and by the grace of God and his choosing, you will experience a new freedom and hope that you've never thought were ever possible in your life. What I mean is that while your peer others are in turmoil, you will be at peace; while they are in tears, you will be at joy; while they are troubled and full of struggles, you will be full of increasing grace upon your life. 

Child of God your promise of victory in life is in Christ Jesus, and it is only through Christ Jesus that darkness disappears, failure disappears, the power of sin is defeated, generational curses are defeated and with the blood of Christ Jesus all evil and wicked covenants upon your life are undressed and broken never to haunt you again. The Bible (1 Corinthians 15:42-58 NLT) reveals that Amazing things will always increasingly happen as you allow your life to be Holy Spirit transformed from a natural body of weakness to a spiritual body with eternal victory in Christ Jesus ("the life-giving Spirit") who spiritually transforms you in the way you think and the way the Lord makes you full with a new mind; in the way you feel as the Lord makes you full with a new responsive heart; and in the way you do things, as the Lord makes you full with a new spirit. People, even your enemies should see something new in you. It should be life and peace and they must yearn to have it too. It is then and when you least expect it, that they will approach you, and on trying to understand your victory which they hardly understand how it comes to be possible, they turn their lives are transformed as they surrender and confess their lives to be cared for by God through accepting Christ Jesus as Lord and savior.    

Give glory to God the Almighty for giving you what you have today, the life, your breathe and all you feed on. The Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-7 NLT) says, "All praise goes to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source of every mercy and the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be  able to give them the same comfort God has given us. You can be sure that the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. We are confident that as you share in suffering, you will also share God's comfort." Most of the times you go through your troubles, you reach a point where all your own endeavors to victory have failed. At that point it is important for you to understand that it is God who chooses and gives you the ability to win over all your enemies through Christ Jesus. When you humble yourself and surrender yourself to the control of Christ Jesus, only then shall you tell the Lord Jesus to touch here and there and all your worries will be taken away from you. Why you were not victorious in all your praying endeavors was because all you minded was to fulfill your sinful desires instead of the desires of our LORD God. You are a child of God, give your life back to God and he will grant you victory in all your battles and troubles. When you see things not changing even when you pray, change your way of praying, praising, and worshiping God. Pray in the plan of God as opposed to praying in your own plan. Ask yourself questions: My prayers are not being answered, why? Have I been honest and sincere in all my dealings? If not why? Check the way you have been dealing with others, see if it is the way of Christ Jesus. Ask more questions: Have I depended on the grace of God? If not why? Most of you instead of depending on the grace of God to transform your fleshly ability and be made able to be victorious over all wicked attacks, all you do is falsely depend on your own fleshly wisdom and way of understanding things. You even go ahead to create personal philosophies that contradict against the intended promise of God for you. In the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:17 NLT) Paul writes that, "You may be asking why I changed my plan. Hadn't I made up my mind yet? Or am I like people of the world who say yes when they really mean no?." Your plans, your visions, your projections, your wills keep changing because you walk not in the plans of God, you are guided even in your prayers by selfish sinful desires of this world. In other-words, you want God to make you whole and free from trouble and strain yet you allow the power of sin to control you, by this way of living no matter what you do your way, you can never be victorious once what you do is out of scope of God's promised purpose for your existence.  

Child of God let your yes mean yes, the only way this is possible is by you being spiritually transformed in the purpose and promise of God by accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior and accepting to live in the character of our Lord Christ Jesus and in the control of the Lord's spirit. Refuse to be that kind of person who says you are born again and yet you enjoy to do what the sinful flesh enjoys to do. Let your yes be controlled by God's divine yes. Your divine victory happens when God has affirmed that you are working within his purpose for you. In the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:18-22 NLT) Paul encourages you not to waver in your decisions by putting your trust in Christ Jesus so that all you do is blessed by God's divine control and affirmed 'Yes'. Paul says that, "As surely as God is true, I am not that sort of person. My yes means yes because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, never wavers between yes and no. He is the divine Yes-God's affirmation. For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in him. That is why we say "Amen" when we give glory to God through Christ. It is God who gives us, along with you, the ability to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment of everything he will give us." When you allow yourself to be commissioned by our Lord Christ Jesus, you endure all troubles and sufferings, you develop the character of Christ Jesus and the salvation the LORD gives you is the divine victory which is God's affirmation of you and just like all the prophets that were victorious, therefore, it is by the promise of God that you too must be victorious in all you do through the pathway of Christ Jesus. 

How can you relate to this for your better understanding of how you fulfill God's requirements so as to be granted victory. Let you reflect back on Abraham. In your understanding in case you perhaps hoped to be a descendant of Abraham because he is your forefather, let it be made clear, the Bible (Romans 9:7 NLT) argues that the fact that you are a descendant of Abraham does not make you truly Abraham's child. Why? You ask. This is because you have to be a child of the promise to be Abraham's chosen child and counted descendant fit to share in the victories and as such treasures through Christ Jesus secured for God's children. In any such case, much as Abraham had many children, the Bible (Romans 9:7-14 NLT) makes it clear that God chose Isaac to be the only son and child of Abraham through whom you be chosen and counted as a true descendant and child of God. When Abraham's son Isaac grew up, he married Rebekah  and before she could give birth to twins, before their children could do anything good or bad, a message to her came from God, a message that reveals how God chooses according to his purpose whether you are to be victorious in life or not. Therefore you being a child of God is never by your good or bad deeds, just as Rebekah in the scriptures was told that, "The descendants of " her "older son" would "serve the descendants of" her "younger son." God says in verse thirteen of these scriptures that, "I loved Jacob, but I rejected Esau." What does this mean? This means that being of the same womb does not guarantee you are chosen. Pursue to be a child of God through Christ Jesus if at God's choosing you are a descendant of the rejected and not the loved, or if you are a descendant of the slave and not the master. This is true because God according to verse fifteen of these scriptures said to Moses, that he will show mercy and compassion to whoever he chooses. 

Now what can you do for you who is a descendant of the rejected and the slave- you that is always in a position of subordination and struggling?  

God gives to everyone as he chooses, by his promise. So for you to be victorious, you have to give God what you owe God: Renew the blood covenant of Christ Jesus with the LORD and accept God's word, worship and eternally praise God in truth and receive God's wonderful promises (Romans 9:4 NLT). You being victorious means you being a child of God, and this calls for the Holy Spirit to be upon you as witness that God is pleased to accept you as his child among other accepted children. This to happen you must never be cut off from Christ Jesus as being cut off from him would leave you cursed, leave you in darkness, in death and a life full of decay and unending struggles. Therefore for you to fulfill God's requirement for victory by accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior as well as having discipleship characters, paying all your debts (which also include your tithes and generously given thanksgiving), and loving your neighbors as yourself (including forgiving all those you have a grudge on) for the Bible (Romans 13:10 NLT) says that, "Love does no wrong to anyone, so love satisfies all of God's requirements." So start living right, refuse to live in the dark (renounce all evil deeds upon you- say I renounce all my evil deeds and I shed them all off like dirty clothes, I clothe myself with the armor of right living, as the former prophets and the other children of God who live in the light, from today, I choose to be decent and true in all my deeds and by the power and transformation of the Holy Spirit I be victorious and be approved of my behavior by everyone, I reject wild parties, I refuse to get drunk, I renounce adultery, I renounce all immoral living, I rebuke fighting, and I rebuke all forms of jealousy, I rebuke nose thumbing, I rebuke witchcraft, I rebuke the spirit of abandonment,-rejection,-fear,-anger,-regression,-limitation,-stagnation,-Lucifer,-Jezebel,-abomination,-crawling and flying spirits,-spirits of back fire,- and I rebuke all trailing as well as monitoring clan spirits), and for you to be spiritually transformed for your victory in God's promise, start living in the light right now (say now I let the Lord Christ Jesus take control of me and by living in the spirit of the Lord, I refuse to think of ways that indulge my evil desires from now forward, in the mighty name of our Lord Christ Jesus, Amen), I guarantee you to wake up now as time is running out- know it now that accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior tomorrow or any other day other than now is late. Accept Jesus Now, be saved, be reborn, be controlled by the Holy Spirit and divine victory which is by the affirmation of God will be on your side. 

It is therefore important for you to know that just as Abraham had two children, one from a slave-wife and another from a free-wife (Galatians 4:22-23 NLT), you too are either trapped in either a bond of being enslaved to want to please your human desires for the customs and laws you were born in as a slave or you accept to move beyond your flesh desires and serve seek God's purpose for you. Child of God, stop following your human attempt of trying to personally undo your repeated failures and curses as you try to bring about the fulfillment of God's promise in your endeavors to win over the powers of darkness as this is the wrong way and it will keep you in more darkness and decay. Instead, seek freedom first through accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior, be born again of the Holy Spirit  (Galatians 4:29 NLT) by the word of God, be transformed to be a child of freedom in Christ Jesus acceptable to God by your faith in which you obediently wait on God's own fulfillment of of his promise over you to victory in favor of you in his intended purpose for you as this is the right way to live and it will allow you to live in spirit with life, peace and eternal victory in the mighty name of our Lord Christ Jesus. So never despise the Lord's work, it is never useless, it is more eternally rewarding, so encourage yourself in the Lord's spirit to be strong and always enthusiastic whenever you are serving our Lord Christ Jesus. You are encouraged to always give generous thanks to God, who gives you victory over sin and death through Christ Jesus our Lord.

22_ The Scriptures say that Abraham had two sons, one from his slave wife and one from his freeborn wife. 23_ The son of the slave-wife was born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God's promise. But the son of the freeborn wife was born as God's own fulfillment of his promise. 29_ And we who are born of the Holy Spirit are persecuted by those who want us to keep the law, just as Isaac, the child of the promise, was persecuted by Ishmael, the son of the slave-wife.

Glory to God if you have given your life to Christ Jesus of Nazareth, for the Bible (Romans 3:22 NLT) puts it as the way you become right with the LORD God. Besides the many miraculous signs performed by Christ Jesus in the old times, the miraculous signs documented in the Bible to date were particularly intended for you as a Christian to raise your faith and believe with no doubt that Christ Jesus is the only true Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing in Christ Jesus as a christian you have life through Christ Jesus' name (John 20:31 NLT). This means that without Christ Jesus, you live a life of death, decay, trouble, suffering, evil thoughts and wickedness with all its desires for sin. The reason you are conformed to sin is because as a christian, you allow to be controlled by other powers that control you to sin, yet you are meant to surrender yourself to Christ Jesus so as to be full of the ability to walk in righteousness, salvation and the true hope.   

As such in all worship of the LORD our God who is no God of the dead but of the living (Matthew 22:32 KJV), as a Christian with life, you are always in pursuit of spiritual transformation because the control of sin forces you to sin even when you surely would not want or intend to sin. The question is, why are you a Christian and yet still conformed to sin?

Why you are a Christian and yet still conformed to sin, groaning and struggling with sin? 

Still conformed to sin:

Most of us when we give our lives to Christ and become born again, we forget that we previously were born of the bound womb and born to a bound world (Galatians 4:22-26 KJV). You are either born to a sinful woman in bondage or a free woman who has given her life to Christ Jesus and has been made right with God before you make the personal decision to give your own life to Christ. But the conviction goes even beyond your parents, the conviction is also found in the world in which you are born- you have to mind that this world is full of evil and you have to always walk by the control of the Holy Spirit so as not to be tempted by the wrong customs and desires this world would want to make you believe to be right. 

So why you are troubled and keep suffering when you are a Christian is because much as in your mind, you confess to be born again, in your body- your practices and all you speak are of the desires of this world. Besides confessing all you care about (speak and do) is not pleasing God, instead you prefer to please the people of this world (your practice of church going is in pleasing your local church pastor- instead of attending church to worship, praise and give thanks to God you go to church to look out for pastor so and so- this is idolatry yet as a born again christian your faith must be based on you being made right with God by trusting in only Christ Jesus and not your pastor to take away your sinful ways. To others your practice of church going is based on the church gatherings (numbers, peers and colleagues that attend church)- you pray because my friend so and so has gone to church and not because you go to praise and worship God). By this as Christians we confess with our own tongues to be followers of Christ Jesus yet we contradict our own selves by not obeying the customs of being born again Christians. The Bible emphasizes this by saying, "... not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves..." (Romans 2:13-14 KJV). The LORD does not give you a free pass of enjoying the freedom of life and peace because the people you call non Christians are practicing the good deeds the LORD expects you to practice yet you who has even confessed to be a born again Christian instead of practicing them even better you are mocking your God- the non born again Christians appear to do more good deeds and you appear to do more evil yet born again or not we are obliged to do good and follow the will of God not the sinful desires that we practice and continue to do even after confessing to be born again.   

As such we say we are born again and Christians yet we continue to walk in our old sinful ways, thinking of sinful things, abusing people, cheating colleagues, pretending, telling lies, worshiping idols. Your lives are still full of wickedness and sin (Romans 1:28-32 NLT) yet you claim you are born again and deserve the glorious freedom enjoyed by the true children of God. As a born again Christian, you are fully aware of the consequences of not doing God's will, yet you remain disobedient, with the hope that you will repent and you intentionally continue to speak and practice wickedness and sin, the worst offense being that as a Christian you are well aware of the wrong deeds yet you encourage others to do the same for they use you as reference to justify their own deeds. You have been living a transaction life- you have been living for yourself in the selfish you; and now you have to start living a transformed life as a christian- live for the glory of God through Christ, stop doing things for yourself and do for God so that you live in life and peace and all promised freedom of the children of God that you have to share in Christ Jesus.  

Groaning and struggling with sin:

You continue to groan and struggle with sin because of your attitude. When you confess to be born again you forget to shift your attitude and believe that much as you are human by confessing and surrendering yourself to Christ Jesus you are transformed with Christ into the Spirit and are dead to the desires of the flesh. Galatians 2:20-21 NLT says, " I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not one of those who treats the grace of God as meaningless. For if we could be saved by keeping the law, then there was no need for Christ to die." Do not think that you are in your struggles alone, God is with you in all struggles. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ works with and in you for He is aware you are weak by yourself, all He expects of you is to trust in Him so that you allow Him work in you- failure to do that and you think you are still alone is what causes you to stumble and you start to groan and struggle yet with Christ in you there should have been rest. Allowing Christ work in you allows Him help you want to obey God's will, giving you the ability to do what is right. Now whenever you feel alone know that Christ lives in you, so instead of panicking to allow sin take advantage of you and put you through groaning, start talking to Christ Jesus who lives in you, talk about your constraints, your sins, your temptations, your groans, your troubles and sufferings as you ask for Christ's guidance and You will surely stop groaning and struggling with sin.

You need to know that in your sinful nature, sin will make you get comfortable that you start believing that the sin is a fact of life that even when you want to do what is right you inevitably do what is wrong. Romans 7:23 NLT, shows that much as you try to get out of the trap by yourself, there seems to be another law at work within you that is winning over the war with your mind and makes you a slave to the sin within you. By the groans and strains from the struggles, you then be a miserable person yet you continue to claim that you are a Christian. You start to wonder- I became a born again Christian to be free from sin now what is wrong with me that I am not free. The problem has been with your attitude, now refocus. All along you have been a Christian but your problem was in failing to fully trust in Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you thought you could spiritually transform yourself- something which was impossible. Now that you know the truth, know that your answer to being free from the sin, the struggles, the groaning, the suffering in in Christ Jesus our Lord. Start refusing to be controlled by your sinful nature and allow Christ Jesus' Spirit to control you. 

So now how do you make amends? How do you allow your life that is now full of desires of the flesh BE SPIRITUALLY TRANSFORMED to the life in the spirit of God.

How can you be transformed from a life of the flesh to life in the Spirit of the LORD?

For you to live in the life of the Spirit of the LORD, you now have to belong to Christ Jesus. The Bible (Romans 8:3-4 NLT) says that the law of Moses could not transform you to understand that you could not save yourself from your sinful nature and this prompted God to send us His only Son in a human body like yours to save you. In your human sinful nature God saw that you could not fulfill what he intended of the law since your sinful nature was instead using the same law to take advantage of the goodness intended and was instead tempting you. To put a stop to this was only by the coming of Christ Jesus and even today, you can only avoid being tempted and defiled by your sinful nature through Christ Jesus. The destruction of sin is only through Christ Jesus being the only accepted sacrifice for our sins and by this sacrifice, only you who refuse to follow your sinful nature but follow the Spirit of the LORD, the requirement of sin that would have defiled you, the Lord has already stood in the gap for you so fear not and follow God boldly even though you may be seeing yourself as weak and in flesh.

The Bible (Romans 6:4 NLT) says that, "...just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father..." in the same way you "also may live new lives." Therefore you have to re-confess, forgive all those you had a grudge on and accept Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior afresh. The Bible (Romans 6:6-7 NLT) says that by re-accepting Christ even when we previously did, we renew our relationship with God and in so doing our old sinful selves are crucified with Christ and in that way the power of sin that controlled you looses control over you and you seize to be a slave to sin- that way you be free from the power of sin, and the consequences of wickedness can not be implied upon you.    

The fact is that no matter whether christian or not. When God sets you free from sin, it does not give you liberty to go on sinning because when you go on sinning you choose sin, wickedness, death, decay, and that becomes your master. However when you choose God, you obey him, follow His will and in that way you receive His approval. Following God and obeying his will is you accepting to be controlled by righteousness, for you become holy and sin can no longer take control of you. The Bible (Romans 6:20-23 NLT) reveals that, by following righteousness and being holy, the LORD fills you with the ability and character of discipleship that you start to be ashamed of the things you used to do, all those things that ended you into doom. God now expects you to do deeds that are of holiness and approved by Him for you to have eternal life.    

Now that you are freed from your old sinful nature God expects you to truly serve him with no excuses. The Bible (Romans 7:6 NLT) says that the way you have to serve God now is, "...not in the old way by obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way, by the Spirit." God is concerned of you as a Christian to always pursue to doing good and avoid sin at all costs because the old sinful nature from which he frees you only uses God's good will shown to you in the ten commandments for its own evil purposes. The Bible (Romans 8:14 NLT) says that, "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God." So stop doing things and saying things to please the world. Be bold, believe and fully trust in the Spirit and He shall lead you to the true freedom of God's Children, giving you the right to share in the treasures and everything God gives to Christ Jesus. 

So now the question is; is being born again enough for you to join God's Children in the glorious freedom of the life and peace that they enjoy as they are excluded from death and decay suffered by those that are not revealed as God's Children? 

Is being born again enough for you to be revealed as God's Child, worthy of sharing in the glorious freedom of His children and the treasures God gives to his Son Christ Jesus- the full rights as children of God, and the new bodies God has promised?

Just saying you are born again is not enough to be called a child of God. one has to do more than just confessing to be born again. The Bible (Romans 8:17-18 NLT) says that if you are to share in the glory, you have to as well share in the suffering of Christ Jesus. Once you fail the test of enduring the simple suffering that never compares to the glory you enjoy later, then you are not worthy of being called a child of God and as such you can not be full and led by the Holy Spirit who bares witness to the true children of God. 

Besides the groaning suffered by Christians for not living for the glory of God, there is groaning you must suffer as a Christian to qualify you as a true child of God who has accepted to walk in the discipleship of Christ. Therefore much as you may as well be a born again Christian and you have the Holy Spirit within you as a guarantee of the future glory promised by God, the Bible (Romans 8:23 NLT) says you too also groan to be released from pain and suffering. You too must continue to please God as you patiently wait to be given the full rights that qualify you to be God's revealed children, the rights include attaining the new bodies the LORD has promised for his children. So until you are revealed by the witness of the Holy Spirit that you are a Child of God, keep on waiting patiently, confidently and with love for God. 

As you wait to be led by the Holy Spirit in whatever you do do it because you love, trust and believe in only God. Once you pass the test of such endurance, God will surely develop in you a character or discipleship and you will have salvation for the Bible (Romans 8:28-30 NLT) says, " ...that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."If you are God's child, Gd knew you in advance, therefore all you need is to endure by serving Him with love, because surely you never choose yourself, it is God himself that chose you in advance only you do not know it until you ask him to tell you your purpose for the  glory of God's Kingdom. Therefore present yourself to the LORD God always and eagerly while you worship Him in truth and with sincerity and joy. With such posture of the character and the discipleship of being a true Christian, God will surely give you the right standing with himself, including the glory that allows you to rest in Him with life and peace instead of decay and suffering.        

It is therefore important to note that, according to the Bible (Romans 9: 4-5 NLT), when God reveals his glory to you it means you are one of his chosen Children. As his child walk in God's covenants, follow his commands by the lead of the Holy Spirit and as such you will be qualified as God's child revealed to have the privilege of worshiping God and receiving God's wonderful promises as you eternally praise God. So until you walk an extra mile from just saying you are born again, because the Bible (Romans 9:6-7 NLT) puts it that, "....not everyone born into a ...family is truly a member of that family. That just because you are a descendant of Abraham doesn't make you his true child. Just as it is not mandatory that every physical descendant of Abraham is necessarily a child of God (Romans 9:8 NLT), the same applies to you born again Christian. everyone who confesses to be born again has to speak and do and be let by the Holy Spirit to be called a Child of God. Romans 9:15-17 NLT reveals that God said to Moses, "I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose." So receiving God's promise is not up to you, you can not get it by choosing it or working hard for it. God will surely show mercy to anyone he chooses, just as he told Pharaoh that, "I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you, and so that my fame might spread throughout the earth. So therefore Keep praying so that you please God so as to be chosen as his child.  

Child of God, refuse to conform sin through Christ Jesus, be transformed to life by the Spirit and join God's Children in the glorious freedom they enjoy of life and peace.

Transform in Christ and Know God's purpose for you this YEAR 2020

Praise God World!!

Allow Jesus Christ to work in you, with in you to change you so that you allow to be Transformed in you to transform all those around you.

My Transformation Story

One day i just went to church. I praised, I worshiped but I never knew my purpose. Then one Sunday as I went to church, there was a visiting Pastor. Before he became Pastor, he was a practicing Lawyer. The Lawyer pastor said to me, "I always practiced laws but the more I practiced laws, the more enemies attacked me.....until I humbled myself and asked God what my purpose in this world was?" The answer he got was for him to preach the word of God. He dropped legal practice and now he is in the practice of preaching the Gospel. 

The next day I started my own journey. I prayed everyday, asked God to come, told Christ I was ready to serve, never minded how others prayed, my focus was on humbling myself. I left my job and kept praying. Suddenly one day the Lord Spoke through me, told me my purpose and what I would face. He said 'You have called on me and I have come. Do not believe in Pastors, believe in me... do not believe in gatherings...believe in me. I have given you the world... go and build the church. I have put a healing hand on you... go and heal the world........' and more..... Since then in 2018 with the control of the Holy Spirit I started serving God.  One of the surprise changes the Lord did with me was transforming me from a beer, wine and spirits drinking person to the apostle i am now who does not taste anything to do with alcohol, be it beer, be it wine, be it any spirits or any kind of liquor. I am transformed, you too you can be transformed and controlled by Christ Jesus himself. 

Are you living the wrong purpose? 

   

Allow the love of Christ Jesus to control and transform you this 2020. Live to please Christ Jesus and not your human nature. The Bible (2 Corinthians 5:14, NLT) says, "Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us..." By you fulfilling Christ' purpose for you, you will move from thinking about yourself to thinking about others, from thinking about deadlines to focusing on taping in the grace- mercy- and peace that only comes through Christ Jesus. 

God's purpose for you this year is for you to stop living to please yourself. Since you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, start leading a new life of transformation in all your ways. Live a compassionate transformed life and not the passionate life you have been living. Those who believe in Christ as his follower are supposed to do everything that pleases only Christ Jesus and not things that please ourselves. The Bible (2 Corinthians 5:9, NLT) says, "..our aim is to please him (Christ Jesus) always, whether we are in this body or away from this body." In whatever form you are, whether male or female, whether rich or poor, whether religious or atheist, dead or alive you are all in this creation to serve the purpose of God. So start praying for transformation so as to serve your purpose through Christ Jesus. 

Stop evaluating others by what the community thinks or has painted them to be. Jesus welcomes you the way you are. The Lord does not segregate in who you are. By accepting Christ Jesus, you are transformed even in your mind as the Bible (2 Corinthians 5:16, NLT) says, "...we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them..." Many of you mistakenly think that because you have read books, made projections then the actual deeds of your works are because you did so. Let me tell you that it is not you that lives but because Christ lives in you, He allows the transformation you so desire come to be possible, so before you do anything allow the power of the Lord to overshadow you so that whatever pathways, whatever plans you so have be fruitful this 2020. The Bible (Romans 12:2, NLT) also says that, "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what god wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is." Start searching for God's purpose for you. Repent, Forgive, Pray, talk to God, Surrender yourself and in unceasing prayers tell him and also show him that you are ready to allow him change your ways for your eternal transformation, pray for everything and always give him generous thanks (for your life, for Christ Jesus, for Him being your God, for the Holy Spirit, and for adopting you and allowing you call him abba father).

Say this short prayer to give your life to Christ: 

LORD my God, I confess to you my sins (mention them if you can be specific)- the ones of my childhood days, the ones I was initiated on through my fore fathers and clan in which I was born, the ones I have committed through my relatives and brothers, the ones I have committed by default of the wrong cultures I have grown in and was born in. I forgive all those I ever had a grudge on. Today I reject the devil and all his ways. Today I am no longer a child of the devil. I accept Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Today I give my life to Christ Jesus. I undress myself of every darkness and newly dress up with the armor of light and right living. I put on all the armor of God and stand firm against all tricks and strategies of the devil. Today I am born again in Christ Jesus. Amen.
