"But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]."

Praise God, Church Family of Faith!
The book of Romans was written by the apostle Paul for the believers in Rome. In Romans 8:37, Paul emphasises the power and victory that believers have through Christ Jesus. The phrase "overwhelmingly conquer" implies that we are not just barely getting by or surviving, but we are triumphing and prevailing in every situation. It is through the love of our Lord Christ Jesus, demonstrated by His sacrificial death, that we can overcome any challenge or adversity that comes our way. Hallelujah!
In today's world, the concept of overcoming challenges and adversities has been distorted. Many believe that it means avoiding difficulties altogether or relying solely on one's own strength and abilities; this is for the world, not believers. As believers, overcoming challenges and adversities is not about avoiding them or relying on ourselves. Overcoming challenges and adversities is about recognising our dependence on God Almighty and allowing His power to work in and through us. Hallelujah!
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today, I address overcoming challenges and adversities. To explore ways of overcoming challenges and adversities in your life, you need to be aware that Life is filled with trials, hardships, and obstacles that can often leave you feeling overwhelmed and defeated. As born-again believers, these challenges and adversities should not stop you from attaining victory; you have a source of strength, resilience, and hope that the world does not possess. Hallelujah!
Let us understand this source of strength, resilience, and hope in overcoming challenges and adversities in three points:
1. Point 1. The Power of Being Born Again:
Being born again is far beyond a religious concept; it is a life-transforming experience. When you personally accept Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you are spiritually reborn and become a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). It is this new birth that brings you, as believers, into a personal relationship with God and fills you with God's Holy Spirit, who empowers you to overcome any challenge or adversity that you may face.
2. Point 2. Strength in the Face of Challenges:
In times of difficulty, it is crucial to remember that your strength does not come from your own abilities or circumstances. As believers, your strength comes from the LORD (Psalm 28:7). When you face challenges, you can tap into the unlimited power of God, who is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 46:1). As a believer, you don't just barely get by or survive; through Christ Jesus, you triumph and prevail in every situation. God equips you with the strength to endure and overcome, even when you feel weak and helpless.
3. Point 3: Resilience and Hope Through Faith:
Faith is the key that unlocks the door to overcoming challenges and adversities. It is through faith that you can see beyond your present circumstances and trust in God's promises. The Bible tells you that faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). When you anchor your faith in God's unfailing love and faithfulness, you can face any challenge with unwavering hope and resilience.
In conclusion, therefore, let us remember that overcoming challenges and adversities is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey. It requires a daily surrender to God, a reliance on His strength, and a steadfast faith in His promises. Let us commit ourselves to seeking God's guidance and wisdom in every situation, knowing that He is with us every step of the way. Let us pray.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come before you today, acknowledging my need for your strength and guidance in overcoming challenges and adversities. Help me to fully grasp the power of being born again and to rely on your strength in the face of difficulties. Fill me with resilience and hope through my faith in you. May my life be a testimony of your transforming power. In Christ Jesus' mighty name, I have prayed, Amen.
You have been Church-Built and healed. Please voluntarily and sincerely give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love in all circumstances. This is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Pray, tithe, and sow healing seeds to Him, who can do immeasurably more than you ask or imagine. Act in faith and obedience, and be doers of the word, not just hearers.
Yours in Christ,
Apostle Jude Noah Wakibi
