Renew Your Minds: Fasting Day 3

 

Praise God, Church Family of Faith!

Thank you for fasting this week. 

Yesterday we Fasted and prayed with the scripture Philippians 4:8 Review from here  https://wakibijudenoah.blogspot.com/2023/05/renew-your-minds-fasting-day-2.html?m=1 if you missed Day 2. 

Today is day three of our week's fasting as we fast to renew our minds. 

Day 3 Scripture: Isaiah 58:6 (AMP)

Isaiah 58:6 (AMP Bible) states that:

"Is this not the fast which I choose, to undo the bonds of wickedness, to tear to pieces the ropes of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free and break apart every enslaving yoke?"

This scripture reminds us believers that fasting should not only be about personal spiritual growth, but also about helping others and fighting against injustice.

Fasting Lesson: 

During a fast, it is important to not only focus on personal spiritual growth, but also to actively seek ways to help others and fight against injustice in the world.

Let us pray: 

Dear Lord, as I break my fast, I ask for your help in seeing ways that I can help others and fight against injustice in the world. Help me to be a light for your kingdom and to actively work towards making the world a better place. Amen.

Thank you for joining us as we embark on a journey of spiritual discipline and growth through fasting. 

With this gospel message, lesson  and prayer I believe you have been Church Built and Healed for your good and the glory of the LORD ALMIGHTY. 

Beloved believer, I encourage you not to forget to tithe, sow your seeds, or give thanks to God for all His goodness and blessings.
