Praise God, Church Family of Faith!
Welcome, beloved believers to CHRISTIAN HEALING CHURCH MINISTRY. My name is Apostle Jude Noah Wakibi, and I'm delighted to be here with you today to share a message about fasting from Isaiah 58:6 (AMP BIBLE). Hallelujah!
Fasting is a gospel message that is often misunderstood or neglected in your Christian walk. However, in Isaiah 58:6, we find a powerful description of what fasting should look like. The scripture says:
"Is this not the fast which I choose, to undo the bonds of wickedness, to tear to pieces the ropes of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free and break apart every [enslaving] yoke?"
What does this mean for us as believers? It means that fasting is not just about abstaining from food or drink. Fasting is about breaking free from the bondage of sin, by you yourself intentionally allowing God to heal your hearts and minds, and releasing yourselves with the help of God from the yokes that bind you. Hallelujah!
There are many situations or seasons in which you might find yourselves in need of this kind of fasting. Perhaps you are struggling with addiction or temptation. Maybe you are facing a difficult decision and need clarity and guidance from God. Or you might be feeling spiritually dry and in need of a fresh touch from the Holy Spirit. Amen. Fear not child of God and actively trust in God. Hallelujah!
I tell you fellow believer, whatever your circumstances, you can turn to fasting as a powerful armor like the armor in Ephesians 6:10-19 for spiritual breakthrough. By denying yourselves physical nourishment, you can open yourselves up to receive the spiritual nourishment that only God can provide. Hallelujah!
Child of God, please be aware that fasting is not just about what you can get from God. Fasting is also about what you can give to God. As you fast, you can intercede for others, lifting up their needs before God and standing in the gap for them. You can also use the time and energy you would normally spend on food to serve others, to reach out to those in need and to share the love of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus with them. By this the LORD ALMIGHTY will always overtake you beyond what you personally would have contained and undo bonds of wickedness, and tear to pieces ropes of the yokes in your life, and allow you let those you oppress go free, as by the Lord's power and strength in you you break apart from every enslaving yoke as all chains in your life get broken. Hallelujah!
So today, as a believer I encourage you to consider the power of fasting in your own life. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply seeking a deeper relationship with God, fasting can be a powerful armor to help you break free from the bonds of sin, receive spiritual nourishment, and serve others. Amen. This is the Gospel message the Lord has allowed me share with you.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of fasting, for the way it can break the chains of sin and oppression in our lives. I ask you LORD that you would give us the strength and the wisdom to fast in a way that is pleasing to you, that we might receive the fullness of your blessings and share them with others. Help me to be obedient to your call to fast and to serve, and to always give thanks for your provision LORD GOD. In Christ Jesus' mighty name, I have prayed, forevermore. Amen.
I believe this gospel message and prayer has church built and Healed you as a believer.
Beloved believer, I encourage you not to forget to tithe, sow your seeds, or give thanks to God for all His goodness and blessings you always receive through every gospel message and prayer. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace forevermore. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
