Praise God Church!!
Child of God, yesterday must been your last day of complaining.
Recently I engaged with believers and
they were wondering why their prayers were not being answered yet they always
prayed whenever they wanted something from God. Where they praying or
complaining to God! The fact that they only prayed when they wanted what
they never had was complaining and not praying. God does not reward complaints,
He rewards the genuine demands for needs you make through Christ Jesus.
When you complain: You express
dissatisfaction, tell your pains and ailments, show uneasiness and argue while
spreading discouraging reports (Numbers 13:32 NLT),
you censure and oppose or be rebellious, show resentment and disapproval, you
express grief or find fault or make empty accusations by showing you are
not contented with whatever you have. Today I tell you to stop complaining and
start demanding for all your needs through Christ Jesus and God will avail to
you beyond your expected capacity.
Make your demands only through Christ
Jesus, for it is only Christ who pleases God and can plead on your
behalf for you to attain all your needs. In the Bible (Colossians
1:15-23 NLT), Paul proclaims the Good News as to why you make your
demand through Christ Jesus, He says:
"Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body.He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world..." (Colossians 1:15-23 NLT)
Complaining
is rejecting the Lord among you as you express your discontentment to
God that, Why did you let me leave the evil control where I seemed to be
cared for yet you are failing to care for me! When you surrendered yourself to
Christ you became children of light and as such you are expected to live
and behave like children of the light behaving like Christ Jesus, and
controlled by the power of God's Spirit and not otherwise. Paul in the Bible (Ephesians 4:1-4, 29-31; 5:1-4, 15-18 NKJV) encourages
you of the same where he says:
"I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling." (Ephesians 4:1-4 NKJV)
"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice." (Ephesians 4:29-31 NKJV)
"Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.." (Ephesians 5:1-4 NKJV)
"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:15-18 NKJV)
In the days of Moses, it was from Egypt
where the LORD had directed Moses to lead His people, the Israelites out of
Egypt. Along the way they never acted as the children of light, the Bible (Numbers 11:1, 10, 13, 17-18, 20, 33-34 NLT, Numbers
13:25-27, 31-33 NLT, Numbers 14:5-11 NLT) shows that instead of being
thankful to God, they rather complained:
Complaint is telling God, there is a
limit to your power
(Numbers 11:23 NLT). Complaining never brings
to you what God has blessed and kept in store for you, instead when you
complain to God, because of this greed expressed in your complaint, His anger
is blazed against you. Since you will have acted not as expected as a citizen
of Heaven- a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ (Philippians 1:27-30; 2:1-4 NLT):
by your own act of complaining you prompt God to be angry at you and as a
result God detaches you from the privileges his children receive (Philippians 2:1-3 NLT): God removes his encouragement
that you get from belonging to Christ, God removes any comfort that you get
from the love of Christ, God breaks the fellowship that units you in the Spirit
for your hearts are not worthy of his Spirit as your hearts are no longer
tender and sympathetic, for all you do is make God angry by disagreeing with
him through your complaints, you are not humble as you only think about your
own affairs.
Much as the Egyptians had been rescued
from Egypt, instead of appreciating, they complained. Like the Egyptians most
of you, instead of appreciating what you have been given, all you do is look
for faults and express discontentment. Just as this annoys the person from whom
you receive, you annoy God even more. In the Bible (Philippians
2:14-16 NKJV) Paul says:
"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life..." (Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV)
Complaining is not a fruit of the
children
worthy of being called the belonging of Christ Jesus and the belonging of God.
Instead of worshiping God and demand for the meat through worship, the Israelites
preferred to complain - this was idolatry. When you complain you loose
everything the LORD would have kept for you in store- in effect you suffer a
gag (Numbers 11:20 NLT) of destruction in all
forms of - starvation - thirst - short life - no productivity - sickness - and
death. From the old times God had already promised you the best as his child
and now your impatience by your complaint has disapproved of God's capacity to
deliver his promise, your disbelief leaves you to chess for the wind unless you
purify your self through Christ Jesus. The Bible (Exodus
23:25-26 NIV) reminds you, and expresses to you through Moses what God
already had in store for you before you started complaining, to Moses who God
spoke to on your behalf, God calls upon you to:
"Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I (God) will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I (God) will give you a full life span." (Exodus 23:25-26 NIV)
Complaining causes you to quarrel,
fight as
it fills you up with evil desires of all sorts of jealousy (James 4:1-2 NLT). The Bible (Colossians
4:2-3 NLT) says that the reason you do
not get what you want is that you do not ask God for it. Asking God is doing it
through worship, through Christ Jesus. Asking God through means other than
Christ Jesus is rebelling against God and as such you can not receive from God
with such mockery of likening Him with what He is not and asking from him
through ways He has not approved of. Asking from Gd with an evil attitude is
disobedience and God never rewards disobedience or someone who comes to Him
with a greedy and evil motive as such is not just idolatry, but rather
rejection, and rebellion.
Complaining is rebelling against God
and discouraging (Numbers 13:32 NLT, Exodus 23:1 NLT)
other believers with your remarks. How long do you think you will keep
complaining and rejecting God? You must have ended it yesterday as
complaining is rejecting (Numbers 14:1-12 NLT)
God. This is idolatry, it is failing to believe that God's word as said
always comes true (Numbers 11:23 NLT), it
is failing to believe in the miracles shown (Numbers
14:11 NLT) to you to believe God, it is telling God to disown you and
destroy you (Numbers 14:12 NLT), it is
adamantly failing to listen (Numbers 14:22 NlT),
it is contempt (Numbers 14:23 NLT) with lack of
vision - for complaining is being lost to everything and more so lost to God.
Repent now, forgive all you had a grudge on, return to Christ, make your demands
through Christ Jesus and your humbleness and loyalty (Numbers
14:24 NLT) will win God's mercy and provision for all your needs.
Therefore, start all over now, repent
and submit yourself to Christ afresh (James 4:7
NLT) and live the new life free of complaints as a follower of Christ
Jesus Should (Colossians 3:5 NLT): Put to death
the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with any
impurity, lust and shameful foolish complaining desires. Do not be greedy for
the good things of this world and the evil life you live as such craving is
idolatry. When you start all over by giving your life to Christ and for this
matter God, everything else does not matter, what matters is you will have
belonged to Christ again and all your wrongs of complaining will have been
written off by God for Christ is all that matters and once we surrender to Him
He lives in all of us (Colossians 3:11 NLT). So
cloth yourself with a new attitude (Colossians 3:10
NLT) of not complaining such that your choice will continually be
renewed as you learn more and more about Christ, who will have enabled the
creation of the attitude of refusing to complain within you.
Since God has chosen you, as you
submit yourself to Christ Jesus for forgiveness and you are forgiven from all
complaints, what is needed more of you is to keep close to God and as such you
must reject complaining (Colossians 3:12-16 NLT)
and do the following: Be full of a tender heart, mercy, kindness, humility,
gentleness, patience, make allowance for the faults of those who hurt you and
forgive them since through Christ Jesus you too are forgiven and be
appreciative, always be happy (1 Thessalonians 5:16
NLT) and loving, live in peace and unity (1
Thessalonians 5:15 NLT), always be thankful, follow the words of Christ
and allow yourself live in them as a basis for your counsel.
The Bible (1
Thessalonians 5:21-24 NLT), encourages you through Paul that, Instead of
complaining test everything that is said and Hold on to what is good.
Keep away from every form of complaint as you will be rejecting God. That way
the peace that comes from God will be upon you in every way, you have all your
needs availed to your cup - plate - and health. Believe in God now, start
worshiping him and never will you complain again. COMPLAIN NOT now and you
will testify that God's hand is never limited. God bless you. Let now pray;
Pray and intercede for all the people
you know that are complaining, pray for yourself as well if you too have just
been complaining.
As you pray repent and let the Lord
Christ Jesus plead for you for the fact that you foolishly sinned (Numbers 12:11 NIV), recognize that God's power is
great, recognize that the LORD is slow to anger and rich in unfailing love and
forgiving to every kind of sin and rebellion, recognize that God does not leave
sin unpunished that he punishes children for the sins of their parents to
the 3rd and 4th generation (Numbers 14:18 NIV),
so stop complaining, you should have stopped yesterday.
LORD I pray in the
name of our Lord Christ Jesus, Please pardon the
sins of these people that have lived their lives complaining. Just as you first
forgave them because of your magnificent, unfailing love by allowing your only
son Christ Jesus to die for them on the Cross from which his death and
resurrection over powered the power and control of sin over them, even now I
believe you have forgiven them. Thank you LORD for pardoning them, in the
mighty name of Christ Jesus my personal Lord and Savior, I have prayed, Amen.

Drawing Close to God
1_What is causing the
quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war
within you? 2_You want what you don’t have, so
you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you
can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you
don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. 3_And even when you ask, you don’t get it because
your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure. 4_You adulterers! [a]
Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I
say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an
enemy of God.

The People Complain to Moses
1_Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and
the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s
anger blazed against them, and he sent a fire to rage among them, and he
destroyed some of the people in the outskirts of the camp. 10_Moses heard all the families standing in the
doorways of their tents whining, and the LORD became extremely angry. Moses was
also very aggravated. 11_And Moses said to the
LORD, “Why are you treating me, your servant, so harshly? Have mercy on me!
What did I do to deserve the burden of all these people? 12_Did I give birth to them? Did I bring them into
the world? Why did you tell me to carry them in my arms like a mother carries a
nursing baby? How can I carry them to the land you swore to give their
ancestors? 13_Where am I supposed to get meat
for all these people? They keep whining to me, saying, ‘Give us meat to eat!’ 17_I will come down and talk to you there. I will
take some of the Spirit that is upon you, and I will put the Spirit upon them
also. They will bear the burden of the people along with you, so you will not
have to carry it alone. 18_“And say to the people, ‘Purify yourselves, for tomorrow
you will have meat to eat. You were whining, and the LORD heard you when you
cried, “Oh, for some meat! We were better off in Egypt!” Now the LORD will give
you meat, and you will have to eat it. 20_You
will eat it for a whole month until you gag and are sick of it. For you have
rejected the LORD, who is here among you, and you have whined to him, saying,
“Why did we ever leave Egypt?”’” 21_But Moses
responded to the LORD, “There are 600,000 foot soldiers here with me, and yet
you say, ‘I will give them meat for a whole month!’ 22_Even
if we butchered all our flocks and herds, would that satisfy them? Even if we
caught all the fish in the sea, would that be enough?”
23_Then the LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will
see whether or not my word comes true!” 24_So
Moses went out and reported the LORD’s words to the people. He gathered the
seventy elders and stationed them around the Tabernacle.[a]

[a]. Verse 24: Hebrew the tent;
also in 11:26.
33_But while they were gorging themselves on the meat—while it was still in their
mouths—the anger of the LORD blazed against the people, and he struck them with
a severe plague. 34_So that place was called
Kibroth-hattaavah (which means “graves of gluttony”) because there they buried
the people who had craved meat from Egypt.
Numbers 12:11 Holy Bible, New International Version
11_and he said to Moses,
“Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin
we have so foolishly committed.

The Scouting Report
25_After exploring the
land for forty days, the men returned 26_to
Moses, Aaron, and the whole community of Israel at Kadesh in the wilderness of
Paran. They reported to the whole community what they had seen and showed them
the fruit they had taken from the land. 27_This
was their report to Moses: “We entered the land you sent us to explore, and it
is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. Here is the
kind of fruit it produces. 31_But the other men
who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!”
32_So they spread this
bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled
through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people
we saw were huge. 33_We even saw giants [a] there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we
felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”

The People Rebel
1_Then the whole
community began weeping aloud, and they cried all night. 2_Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest
against Moses and Aaron. “If only we had died in Egypt, or even here in the
wilderness!” they complained. 3_“Why is the
LORD taking us to this country only to have us die in battle? Our wives and our
little ones will be carried off as plunder! Wouldn’t it be better for us to
return to Egypt?” 4_Then they plotted among
themselves, “Let’s choose a new leader and go back to Egypt!” 5_Then Moses and Aaron fell face down on the ground
before the whole community of Israel. 6_Two of
the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of
Jephunneh, tore their clothing. 7_They said to
all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a
wonderful land! 8_And if the LORD is pleased
with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich
land flowing with milk and honey. 9_Do not
rebel against the LORD, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are
only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the LORD is with us!
Don’t be afraid of them!” 10_But the whole
community began to talk about stoning Joshua and Caleb. Then the glorious
presence of the LORD appeared to all the Israelites at the Tabernacle. [a] 11_And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will
these people treat me with contempt? Will they never believe me, even after all
the miraculous signs I have done among them? 12_I
will disown them and destroy them with a plague. Then I will make you into a
nation greater and mightier than they are!”

Live as Citizens of Heaven
27_Above all, you must
live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the
Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear
about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one
purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. 28_Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies.
This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you
are going to be saved, even by God himself. 29_For
you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the
privilege of suffering for him. 30_We are in
this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know
that I am still in the midst of it.

Have the Attitude of Christ
1_Is there any
encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any
fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2_Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly
with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and
purpose. 3_Don’t be selfish; don’t try to
impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4_Don’t look out only for your own interests, but
take an interest in others, too.

Thank God, I always wondered what encourages people to complain. Now the LORD has provided the answers. You too can stop complaining, you should have stopped yesterday. You can stop now. Thank you Christ Jesus, I do not take your grace for granted, If I did, complaining would save me, now that I know that it never does, I will rest in your goodness.
